Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in North Quincy, MA that is seeking a Technical Data Governance Engineer. This person should be technically strong in the Collibra platform, including metadata management, data governance, data quality, and data catalog. Responsibilities:
β’ Setup Data Catalog configurations and scheduling to bring new applications metadata
β’ Setup lineage harvester to bring data lineage
β’ Design and develop Collibra workflows
β’ Design and develop Collibra Integration API
β’ Develop and maintain Collibra workflows, dashboards, and data models
β’ Collaborate with data stewards and business users to define and implement data governance policies
β’ Perform data quality assessments and implement data quality rules within Collibra
β’ Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Collibra-related issues
β’ Conduct training sessions for end-users on Collibra
β’ Developing business process workflows
β’ Developing integration between Collibra and other systems
β’ Configuring Collibra per business requirements, code/configuration migration between different environments
β’ Production monitoring, creating monitoring dashboards, setting up alerts, triaging alerts
β’ Creating and driving the technical vision for the team that designs, develops, tests, and operates our platform services end to end
β’ Working with functional analysts and other cross functional team to implement, customize and integrate data across multiple platforms
Requirements
β’ 4+ years of experience working in the data management focusing on data governance, data warehouse, data quality, data design, and development
β’ 2+ years of experience with the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform (DIP) functionalities
β’ Able to work independently with some guidance from the Collibra Lead
β’ Teamwork and problem-solving skills
β’ Expertise in Java, Groovy Scripting, and Shell Scripting
β’ Expertise in writing SQL Query
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
