We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with deep expertise in Palantir platforms (Foundry, Gotham, or Apollo) and a strong blend of technical proficiency and business acumen to drive transformative data solutions in the Banking and Financial Services sector. This role will lead the design, development, and deployment of Palantir-based solutions to address complex challenges in areas such as risk management, fraud detection, compliance, and customer insights at a leading financial institution. Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
• Lead end-to-end implementation of Palantir-based solutions, including data integration, ontology design, pipeline development, and application deployment within banking systems.
• Architect and optimize Palantir Foundry/Gotham workflows to support use cases such as anti-money laundering (AML), credit risk modeling, regulatory reporting, and customer 360 analytics.
• Oversee the integration of Palantir with enterprise systems (e.g., core banking platforms, data lakes, cloud environments like AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Provide technical guidance to a team of data engineers, developers, and analysts, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Drive performance tuning, scalability, and security of Palantir solutions to meet stringent banking requirements.
Business Acumen & Stakeholder Engagement
• Collaborate with business units (e.g., Risk, Compliance, Wealth Management, Retail Banking) to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, presenting data-driven insights and solution roadmaps to support strategic decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to leverage Palantir for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and revenue generation in banking processes.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to upskill business and technical teams on Palantir capabilities.
Project Delivery & Governance
• Manage the full lifecycle of Palantir projects, from requirements gathering to production deployment, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, Basel III, FINRA) and internal governance standards in all solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including technical designs, user guides, and operational runbooks.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
• Stay abreast of Palantir’s evolving capabilities and emerging trends in financial technology to recommend innovative applications.
• Drive adoption of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI within Palantir to enhance banking use cases.
• Contribute to the bank’s digital transformation strategy by advocating for data-centric solutions.
Qualifications
Experience
• 8+ years of experience in technical roles within Banking or Financial Services, with at least 3–5 years of hands-on experience implementing and managing Palantir Foundry, Gotham, or Apollo in enterprise environments.
• Proven track record of leading complex, high-stakes projects at a large bank or financial institution.
• Strong understanding of banking domains such as risk management, compliance, fraud detection, or customer analytics.
• Experience integrating Palantir with financial systems (e.g., Temenos, FIS, Murex) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Technical Skills
• Expertise in Palantir Foundry/Gotham, including ontology modeling, data pipelines, Code Workbook, and application development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java, or Scala for Palantir customizations.
