Role description
Role Summary Own the complete technical customer journey from pre-sales through successful implementation. You'll bridge the gap between our sales team and technical capabilities during the sales process, then ensure seamless onboarding and platform adoption for new customers. This role combines technical sales expertise with hands-on implementation skills to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role will start as a part-time contract role with the option to go full-time and convert to permanent. Key Responsibilities Pre-Sales Technical Support (40%): β€’ Conduct technical discovery calls with prospects β€’ Lead product demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects β€’ Respond to RFPs and technical questionnaires β€’ Size and scope custom implementation requirements β€’ Collaborate with sales team on deal strategy and pricing β€’ Design technical solutions aligned with customer business needs β€’ Support sales forecasting with technical feasibility assessments Post-Sales Implementation & Onboarding (60%): β€’ Lead technical kickoff calls and requirement gathering for new customers β€’ Configure customer environments and permissions β€’ Manage data migration and formatting processes β€’ Set up integrations with customer systems β€’ Configure workflows, dashboards, and reporting β€’ Conduct system training sessions for customer technical teams β€’ Validate data integrity and system performance β€’ Document custom configurations and customer-specific processes β€’ Provide ongoing technical support during ramp-up period β€’ Coordinate with internal teams to resolve implementation blockers Required Qualifications β€’ 3+ years in technical sales, solutions engineering, implementation, or consulting β€’ Strong presentation and communication skills β€’ Experience with SaaS platforms and API integrations β€’ Experience with data manipulation and ETL processes β€’ Proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools β€’ Understanding of enterprise software sales cycles β€’ Customer-facing experience in technical roles β€’ Strong project management and communication skills β€’ Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions β€’ Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail β€’ Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications β€’ SaaS implementation experience β€’ Experience with AI/ML platforms or data analytics tools β€’ Previous startup/scale-up experience β€’ CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot) β€’ Experience with APIs and integration platforms β€’ Data visualization tools knowledge (Tableau, Power BI) β€’ Project management certification (PMP, Agile) β€’ Technical certifications relevant to our stack Reports to CTO and collaborates closely with Sales team, Customer Success, Platform Development team.
