Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

Business Objective:

   • The manager is looking to add additional contractors to help with upcoming projects, BAU work. He has additional funding to bring on more support. He is seeking an experienced Teradata Developer to join the team.

   • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BTEQ scripting and Unix scripting, with additional skills in Autosys and Informatica being a plus.

   • This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse solutions to support our business needs.

Must Haves:

   • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Teradata development and data warehousing.

   • Strong data sourcing, data modeling, and provisioning skills

   • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Teradata databases.

   • Proficient in BTEQ scripting for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

   • Unix shell scripting to automate tasks and enhance data processing efficiencies.

Plusses:

   • Experience with job scheduling tools like Autosys is desirable.

   • Familiarity with Informatica or other ETL tools is a plus.
