Role description
Position - Tetrate SME Location - Remote Duration - Long term Contract Job Description β€’ Architect and implement Tetrate Service Bridge (TSB) solutions to manage service-to-service communication across multi-cloud and hybrid deployments. β€’ Apply AI/ML capabilities within the Tetrate ecosystem to enable intelligent observability, traffic management, and policy automation. β€’ Integrate zero trust security principles into service mesh deployments to ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity mandates. β€’ Configure and manage Envoy proxies, gateways, and control planes to optimize microservices traffic flow and reliability. β€’ Collaborate with DevSecOps, platform engineering, and security teams to streamline operations through policy-as-code and AI-assisted insights. β€’ Provide expert-level guidance on service mesh architecture, data plane optimization, telemetry ingestion, and performance tuning. Required Qualifications β€’ Proven experience deploying and managing Tetrate Service Bridge (TSB) in production environments. β€’ Strong understanding of service mesh technologies, particularly Envoy, Istio, and WASM-based extensibility. β€’ Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools integrated into observability stacks (e.g., anomaly detection, predictive analytics, auto-remediation). β€’ Proficiency in Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and cloud-native networking. β€’ Knowledge of federal security compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, FISMA, Zero Trust Architecture). β€’ Excellent communication and documentation skills for interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
