Position Overview:
β’ The Technology Service Desk Engineer supports all MSE staff and live events by providing Tier 1 Technical assistance across hardware, software, networking, server, and broadcast environments.
β’ The engineer manages enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, and oversees endpoints via Intune and JAMF.
β’ Key responsibilities include setting up computer devices, live event support, basic network troubleshooting, cable infrastructure maintenance, documentation, and collaboration with teammates.
Pay Rate: $30.00-$40.00/Hour.
Responsibilities:
β’ Provide Tier 1 Level Technical Support for all MSE end-users focusing on troubleshooting of hardware, software, network, broadcast, and A/V systems.
β’ Configure, image, and deploy workstations using Intune Auto-pilot or JAMF Pro.
β’ Perform scheduled employee computer and mobile device refreshes.
β’ Assist with setting up hardware devices for offices, conference rooms, and events.
β’ Troubleshoot basic networking issues related to connectivity, ports, Wi-Fi, and VPN.
β’ Maintain data cabling and fiber systems along with data closets and cable paths.
β’ Provide technical support during live events at bank Arena.
β’ Document and track all work in ticketing management system.
β’ Create and share Standard Operation Procedures and Knowledge Base Articles amongst the team.
β’ Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
β’ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
β’ 2+ yearsβ experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role.
β’ CompTIA A+ certified.
β’ Workable knowledge and configuration of Microsoft Azure / Active Directory, Intune, JAMF.
β’ Knowledge of computer software, desktop and mobile operating systems, hardware, and networking.
β’ Hands-on experience with Windows and macOS environments.
β’ Solid grasp of office automation products and computer peripherals including printers and scanners.
β’ Superb interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
β’ Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
β’ Able to work effectively both independently and on a team.
β’ Ability to resolve issues remotely and provide clear instructions.
β’ Ability to balance and prioritize work with competing target dates.
