Role description
Required Skills & Experience: • Active Top-Secret clearance • B.S. or years of experience in lieu of (typically 4) • 5-12+ years of relevant experience (DevOps, Systems Administration, scripting, etc.) • GitHub pipeline and configuration experience, ideally with on-premise environment • Strong IAC experience with Terraform or Ansible • Containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes (preference for command line) Desired Skills & Experience: • Linux experience strongly preferred • Scripting experience with Bash or Python Job Description: A leading company in the commercial space industry is looking for a Top-Secret DevSecOps Engineer (III or V) to join their growing IT team. This company builds and deliver the future of space transportation, destinations and infrastructure, offering "space-as-a-service" in support of the new space economy. This role requires an active Top-Secret clearance to be considered. This resource will design, implement, and maintain GitHub Enterprise installation both on-premises and in Azure environments, leveraging Kubernetes for build runners while synchronizing GitHub Enterprise in Azure with air-gapped environments. You'll configure, deploy, and maintain Artifactory in air-gapped environments and develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes. Your responsibilities include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, ensuring high service availability, and collaborating with software developers to optimize development processes and embed security practices. Additionally, you'll automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform and Ansible, conduct comprehensive system tests covering security, performance, and availability assessments, and ensure the team produces quality-driven, reproducible software that adheres to industry best practices. This position is a 6-month contract, onsite in Louisville, CO. There is opportunity to extend beyond 6 months. Insurance benefits and a 401K are offered during the contract period. The hourly rate for the position is $63-121/hr, based on years of experience and education.
