We currently have a very exciting opportunity available for a Trade Surveillance Implementation & Data Enginee r . This will be a fully remote , 8-month contract role. Responsibilities • D esign, develop, and optimize database systems to support data storage, retrieval, and analysis. • Design and construct large relational databases to meet project requirements. • Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate new systems with existing data warehouse structures. • Optimize database performance by refining system functionality and ensuring efficient data retrieval. • Implement and enforce database security measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality. • Perform regular data validation and quality checks to ensure database accuracy and reliability. Required Qualifications • 6-9 years of advanced Data Engineering experience • 6-9 years of advanced experi ence with Python • Strong background in capital markets, including securities and commodities trading data • Experience working with order management systems (OMS) • Hands-on experience with trade surveillance systems (e.g., NICE Actimize, Nasdaq SMARTS, Trading Hub) • Proficiency in ETL and data transformation processes • Engineering/development experience with Python and Java Pay Range • Pay range for this position will be up to $ 8 0.00 per hour .
