We are seeking a Trade Surveillance Implementation & Data Engineer with strong experience in surveillance platform integrations and financial markets data. This role focuses on implementing and enhancing trade surveillance solutions, integrating vendor systems, and supporting data pipelines for compliance and risk monitoring.
Responsibilities:
• Implement, configure, and support trade surveillance systems.
• Integrate vendor platforms such as Actimize, SMARTS, or Trading Hub.
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines and data transformations across trade and order lifecycle data.
• Develop and maintain scalable data engineering components using Python and Java.
• Collaborate with compliance, technology, and data teams to ensure accurate detection logic and data integrity.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and support ongoing surveillance enhancements.
Required Experience:
• Hands-on experience with trade surveillance development or implementation.
• Strong experience with Actimize, SMARTS, or Trading Hub.
• Deep knowledge of trade/order lifecycle data across capital markets.
• Skilled in ETL, data transformation, and data integration processes.
• Proficiency in Python and Java for engineering and development tasks.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with compliance and technical stakeholders.
