Our client, a leading government systems integrator located in Chantilly, VA, is in need of a TS/SCI Full Scope Poly cleared Principal Data Scientist for an initial 6 month contract, likely to extend another year. The Data Scientist will work onsite daily, supporting federal law enforcement. They will be responsible for; integrating the low-side model into the high-side environment, followed by retraining with high-side data. Responsibilities also include fine-tuning the model, conducting test and evaluation (V&V) for full production, and additional custom development (to be scoped). Required Skills • Active DoD TS/SCI with full scope polygraph • 5+ years experience working as a Data Scientist • Proficient with Python, Databricks, Apache Spark • Hands-on experience with machine learning ops and familiarity with both supervised and unsupervised machine learning (around time series and event-based constructs) • Experience in pattern matching • Proficient with containerization (Databricks/Kubernetes), LLM/NLP, and model tuning/ validation/ testing • Experience with AWS Preferred Skills • Tableau
