Role description
Job Title: Unix Application Programming – Internet Banking Platform
Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
Rate : 300 GBP/day Inside IR35
Minimum Experience should be 10+years.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support backend services exposed via SOAP for internet banking and internal colleague apps (IBC, DQMU, KIBC).
• Work across multiple technologies for new initiatives, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-performance delivery.
Required Skills:
• Proficient in C Language and C++
• Shell scripting, basic JavaScript and HTML
• Familiarity with APIs (XML, JSON) and Pro
• C for DB interactions
• Experience with DB2 or other relational databases
• Working knowledge of Core Java, Git, Python, and CI/CD processes
• Exposure to Monitoring Tools: Dynatrace, Splunk (preferred)
• Good understanding of Unix/Linux environments
