Job Title: VBA Access Developer Job Type: Contract to Hire Employment Type: Full-Time (W2 Only) Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) Industry: Financial Services / Investment Banking Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled VBA Access Developer with hands-on experience in .NET Core, SQL Server, and Azure to join our team in New York City. This hybrid role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in financial services, capital markets, or investment banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining business-critical applications that support high-volume data processing and reporting. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Access applications using VBA • Build and integrate backend services using .NET Core • Develop and optimize SQL Server databases • Implement cloud-based solutions using Azure services • Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions • Ensure application performance, reliability, and security • Document code, processes, and workflows for maintainability Qualifications Required: • Proficiency in VBA and Microsoft Access development • Hands-on experience with .NET Core (must be recent and practical) • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and relational database design • Experience with Azure cloud services • Prior work experience in financial services, capital markets, or investment banking • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment Preferred: • Experience with Excel automation via VBA • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies • Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes Additional Information • W2 Only – No C2C or third-party arrangements permitted • No sponsorship available – Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa support • Hybrid schedule: 2–3 days onsite in New York City per week
