Now Hiring: Video AI Engineer Location: Atlanta or Dallas preferred (Remote OK) Duration: 12 months Industry: IoT / VaaS Our client, a global leader in IoT solutions, is seeking a Senior Video AI Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying video AI models. This role requires deep expertise in computer vision, video data processing, VMS integration, and real-time AI inferencing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of AI/ML development skills, practical knowledge of video systems, camera configurations, networking, and cloud infrastructure. This is a highly technical role requiring strategic insight and the ability to engage with stakeholders to design scalable, production-ready video analytics solutions. What You'll Do • Build & optimize AI models (object detection, tracking, anomaly detection) • Handle video data preprocessing & annotation • Integrate with VMS platforms (Milestone, Genetec, etc.) • Deploy AI at the edge & in cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) • Configure camera systems (AXIS, Hanwha) • Work with RTSP/WebRTC & video compression (H.264/H.265) • Collaborate on networking (IP, VPNs, NAT, firewalls) • Engage with customers to design scalable AI video solutions Must-Have Skills • Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, YOLO, ONNX, TensorRT, OpenVINO • VMS integration & real-time streaming • Cloud deployment experience • Strong networking fundamentals • Client-facing/solution architecture experience Nice to Have • Docker & Kubernetes • Experience with MLOps and edge deployments Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, EE, or related field DM me or apply directly if you're ready to bring video AI to life at scale!
