Visualfiles Developer

Role: Visualfiles Technical Developer Location: Fully Remote Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 Contract: Fixed-Term / Potential for Perm Network IT is recruiting for a Visualfiles Developer to join a specialist Case Management Systems team. Working in a collaborative, fully virtual team across the UK, you’ll play a key role in supporting, enhancing, and developing mature Visualfiles applications and integrations used by legal and insurance clients. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with lawyers, business support teams, and transformation functions to deliver tailored solutions that improve service delivery and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and enhance Visualfiles CMS applications to meet business requirements. • Work on a range of projects to specification and agreed timescales. • Provide 3rd line technical support and knowledge transfer to the Application Support team. • Conduct peer reviews, QA collaboration, and maintain user stories via Azure DevOps. • Create technical documentation and manage change releases in line with ISO27001 and QMS processes. • Support live releases of new functionality (with overtime paid for out-of-hours deployments). • Integrate systems across different platforms, occasionally using C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server. Experience Requirements: • Proven experience as a Visualfiles Developer (or Solcase with some Visualfiles exposure). • Competent in developing, maintaining, and supporting Visualfiles applications. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider IT team. • Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to provide support and technical guidance to junior colleagues. • Enjoys problem-solving and contributing to technical design discussions. Desirable: • Experience with SQL Server and C#. • Knowledge of integration between Visualfiles and external systems. • Familiarity with ITIL processes, ISO27001, and QA/DevOps practices.
