Role description
Job Summary The Vice President, HR Strategy & People Experience is a senior HR leadership role responsible for translating enterprise people strategy into disciplined execution while elevating the end-to-end team member experience. This leader oversees the HR strategic roadmap and portfolio governance, shapes and communicates a compelling Employee Value Proposition (EVP), and ensures HR initiatives are well-governed, effectively delivered, clearly communicated, and meaningfully experienced. This role serves as a strategic integrator across the Executive HR Leadership Team (eHRLT) and business leaders to align culture, engagement, leadership effectiveness, and organizational systems with enterprise strategy. The VP acts as both architect and operator — a player-coach who sets direction, drives execution, and models excellence in communication and experience design. Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Lead development and execution of the HR strategic roadmap. • Establish and manage the HR PMO, including portfolio prioritization, governance, and reporting. • Draft, edit and distribute all types of internal communications, policy updates, executive messaging, and EVP campaigns that inform, engage, and inspire team members at all levels. • Design and enhance the end-to-end team member experience and engagement strategy including engagement surveys, Glassdoor ratings, recognition, volunteerism, DEI, company town halls, serving as a “player-coach” who both leads and executes. • Translate engagement insights into prioritized action plan • Serve as the primary storyteller for the organization, crafting compelling narratives that reflect and reinforce the company’s mission, values, and culture. • Integrate change management practices into major HR initiatives. • Develop and execute the AI strategy, including the responsible adoption of AI-enabled solutions to enhance talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee experience, performance management, and operational efficiency. • Track KPIs and provide data-driven insights to executive leadership through a Human Capital Dashboard. • Build and lead a high-performing community of practice with team members across the people function and marketing & communications. Job Requirements Required Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Journalism, or related field. • Experience: 10+ years of HR, strategy, communications, or transformation leadership experience or related roles, preferably in healthcare or a regulated industry. Experience with employee engagement, workforce analytics, and organizational effectiveness is key. A plus is demonstrated experience leveraging AI to drive HR initiatives and employee experience. • Skills: Strong executive communication, stakeholder influence, and strategic planning skills. Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills; demonstrated experience in branding, storytelling, and vision-setting; strong project management and event planning abilities; experience with engagement surveys and employer branding; ability to influence and collaborate across all levels. Strong analytics and data visualization skills. • Certifications/Licenses Preferred: Relevant certifications including PMP (Project Management Professional), Prosci Change Management Certification, Employee Experience or Organizational Design certifications are a plus. Physical And Mental Requirements • Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer. • Visual acuity and fine motor skills. • Ability to travel to company locations as needed. Pay Transparency: $200,000.00-230,000.00 Work Environment Remote but may travel to Corp Office on occassion Sponsorship Statement WellBe does not offer employment-based visa sponsorship for this position.
