WCS Developer

Job Title: WCS Developer Work Location : Springfield, MO (Onsite- Hybrid) 8 to 10 Years’ experience, need strong candidate Job Description Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WCS Engineer to lead and support development efforts on WCS based ecommerce platforms The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in enterprise Java development and a strong understanding of WCS subsystems along with experience in modern architectural patterns including microservices and cloud native deployments Key Responsibilities • Design develop and maintain scalable ecommerce solutions using IBM WebSphere Commerce WCS • Lead implementation and customization of WCS subsystems Catalog Order Member Promotions and Search • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define technical solutions aligned with business goals • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services • Contribute to the migration and modernization of legacy WCS components into microservices architecture • Support deployment and monitoring of applications in cloud native environments e.g AWS Azure GCP • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers Required Skills/Experience • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in IBM WCS development • Strong proficiency in JavaJ2EE JSP Servlets and Spring Framework • In-depth knowledge of WCS subsystems Catalog Order Member Promotions Search • Experience with RESTful API design and integration • Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization Docker Kubernetes • Exposure to cloud native deployments and CICD pipelines • Excellent problem solving and communication skills Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory) • Experience with headless commerce or MACH architecture • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools Jenkins Git Terraform • IBM WCS certification is a plus Skills • Mandatory Skills : HTML/HTML5,J2EE,Java,JavaScript,MySQL,Apache Struts, HCL Commerce, Java Server Pages (JSP) /Servlets, MS SQL
