Role description
Workspace Analytics Lead
Contract Duration: ASAP through December 16, 2026
Pay Rate: $70/hour w2 + benefits
Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week in Milwaukee, WI
Overview:
We are seeking a Workspace Analytics Lead to establish a clear, credible workspace measurement capability that supports data‑driven space allocation, campus planning, and future workspace design decisions. This is a hands‑on, outcome‑focused contract role designed to build clarity, trust in metrics, and forward momentum in defining which workspace metrics truly matter. Experience working with CAFM/IWMS platforms, and the ability to translate complex datasets into executive‑ready insights is critical.
What You’ll Do
• Define a workspace metrics and measurement framework aligned to real business and planning decisions
• Establish clear metric definitions, assumptions, and calculation logic to ensure consistency and credibility
• Align workspace inventory, space types, and seat assignments to an IWMS system of record
• Assess existing data sources including IWMS data, occupancy sensors, presence data, and workforce data
• Identify data quality gaps, integrity risks, and dependencies impacting analytics effectiveness
• Deliver a small set of decision‑ready dashboards that support space allocation and design conversations
• Partner with workspace strategy and campus planning stakeholders to validate insights
• Develop a 12–18 month workspace analytics roadmap, outlining maturity stages and deliverables
• Document standards and analytical approaches to support long‑term sustainability
Required Experience:
• Experience in workspace, real estate, facilities, or portfolio analytics
• Proven ability to define analytics strategies and metrics roadmaps, not just produce dashboards
• Hands‑on experience with CAFM or IWMS platforms (OpenBlue experience preferred)
• Power BI and/or Tableau experience
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑facing skills
• Ability to operate independently in a fast‑moving, contract‑based environment
