Role description
Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts at every stage of their careers. Our client, Genesis10, is seeking the following. Apply via Dice today! Genesis10 is currently seeking a Workspace Analytics Lead for a 12+ month contract position with a Major Financial Services Company located in Milwaukee, WI. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the office. Pay Rate: $65.00 - $68.00 per hour This role is responsible for establishing a clear, credible workspace measurement capability that informs space allocation, campus planning, and future workspace design decisions. The ideal candidate will define which workspace metrics matter, assess how well existing systems and data support those metrics, and deliver foundational dashboards and a practical roadmap that enable leaders to make better, evidence-based space decisions. This is a hands-on, timebound role focused on building clarity and momentum, not long-term system administration or tool ownership. Responsibilities: • Define a workspace metrics framework that aligns to real business and campus planning decisions (e.g., reliable seat supply, capacity risk, space type performance) • Establish clear metric definitions, assumptions, and calculation logic to ensure consistency and credibility across reporting • Align metrics to OpenBlue as the authoritative source for space inventory, space types, and seat assignments • Evaluate current data sources and tools (e.g., OpenBlue, occupancy sensors, badge/presence data, workforce data) to determine what can be reliably measured today • Identify gaps, data integrity considerations, and dependencies that affect the usefulness of workspace analytics • Recommend practical improvements and sequencing, prioritizing use of existing systems before suggesting additional capabilities • Deliver a small set of decision-ready dashboards or analytical views that translate workspace data into clear, usable insights • Ensure outputs are designed to support space allocation, planning, and design conversations, not just reporting • Partner with Campus Strategy & Design leaders to validate that insights are understandable, defensible, and actionable • Develop a 12-18 month workspace analytics roadmap that sequences progress from data integrity to baseline visibility to deeper insights • Define what "good " looks like at each stage of maturity and what deliverables are expected • Document standards and approaches so that the capability can be sustained beyond the duration of the contract Requirements: • Experience in workspace, real estate, facilities, or portfolio analytics • Demonstrated ability to define metrics and analytics roadmaps, not just produce reports • Hands-on experience working with CAFM / IWMS platforms • Power BI and/or Tableau experience required • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into executive-ready insights • Comfortable operating independently in a contract, outcome-focused role Desired skills: • OpenBlue experience strongly preferred • API data feed experience preferred Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
