Role description
INTERVIEW: VIDEO
Process - 1 maybe 2 interviews depending on how well he first goes
Day in the life:
She has a team dedicated to xslt, doing content architecture. Because it's so hard to fill these roles they have been hiring these remote so that's the plan even though the company really wants them to be in Raleigh. Looking for a straight contractor. Her team is on the backend, the people that collect the content/data usually coming in as PDF and then uses XSLT to convert to XLM formats to be pushed to product side. This year will be heavy in PDF on conversion.
Content architect is trying to define the intellectual properties of documents before they go on line. So they have data models that are followed as they create XML for the data conversions. Content keeps coming and they have to keep turning it into XML to be converted. So modeling individual focus but then organizing the docs. There's also an infrastructure element to this.
Tech stack-
Data Modeling
XML, XSLT which is a highly used conversion technology
XML Schemas
On infrastructure side there's java, shell scripting and python
AI- Copilot and Agentic transformation…getting agents to build the conversions for them
AWS
Content Management Systems experience
Musts
Have been focused on XSLT for a few years at some point in career
Then some of the stack above. Ideally CMS
• Self motivated cause of remoteness
