Role description
This role will partner closely with Procurement Operations, Finance, and Enterprise Systems teams to support trusted reporting, improve operational visibility, standardize KPI reporting, and strengthen data reliability across the procurement lifecycle. The work will focus on building scalable dashboards and self-service reporting, improving reporting consistency across systems, and helping reduce operational friction caused by incomplete or inconsistent data.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytics and reporting experience with a practical operational mindset. This is a highly execution-oriented role focused on delivering actionable insights, improving reporting usability, and supporting AI-enabled operational workflows in a fast-moving environment.
In This Role, You Will
β’ Partner with our Enterprise Systems & Platform Team to architect a unified procurement data mart spanning Zip, Oracle, Ironclad, VNDLY, Navan, Salesforce, and analytics toolsβso Procurement can operate with real-time, trusted intelligence.
β’ Partner with Enterprise Systems & Platform teams to build scalable datasets and pipelines with consistent join logic, normalized tables, and strong data quality controls.
β’ Own procurement master data and governance (suppliers, categories, items, entities, cost centers), enforcing schema, validation, taxonomy alignment, and consistent definitions.
β’ Design the procurement data layer to support AI and automation, enabling GPT agents, workflow automation, anomaly detection, and intelligent routing.
β’ Deliver dashboards and self-serve reporting across Source-to-Contract, Procure-to-Pay, T&E, and Extended Workforce, covering metrics like spend, SLAs, cycle time, compliance, and bottlenecks.
β’ Enable reliable AI-driven workflows through clean, validated datasets and harmonize KPIs across procurement functions as the central owner of metrics and reporting governance.
β’ Monitor data health, resolve mismatches, reduce duplication and misclassification, and eliminate recurring manual triage.
β’ Drive analytics adoption by replacing ad hoc spreadsheets with governed pipelines and dashboards, and enable cross-functional teams with clear reporting and measurement frameworks.
You Might Thrive In This Role If You
β’ 8+ years building data strategy, analytics, or data products across Procurement, Finance Ops, Supply Chain, or similar domains.
β’ Proven ability to partner with technical teams to design end-to-end procurement data models (supplier, spend, contract, workflows, POs, invoices, payments, T&E, contingent workforce) with clear KPI definitions.
β’ Hands-on experience building trusted datasets and dashboards for self-serve insights, turning spend and operational data into decision-ready reporting and compliance visibility.
β’ Expert in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Zip, Navan, VNDLY, Oracle) with SQL proficiency and familiarity with analytics engineering concepts (data modeling, ETL/ELT, testing, monitoring, documentation).
β’ Experienced in enforcing production-grade data pipelines with quality checks, lineage, and governance, and strong expertise in procurement master data management and data governance (metrics, source-of-truth, access, auditability).
β’ Track record of translating ambiguous business needs into clear analytics requirements and delivering data products with measurable impact.
β’ Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to operate in high-growth environments with high ownership, speed, and a focus on scalable solutions.
