Do you care about organizations and how they work? Do you have an eye for detail, always searching for ways to improve internal processes? Do you want to see businesses achieve their full potential? If the answer to these questions is yes, we would love for you to join us!
The HR Technology team strives to create and deliver a seamless, consistent, and frictionless employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. Leading with care and empathy, we develop efficient and simple people processes, systems, policies, and programs. We develop technology and people knowledge solutions to scale and automate employee activities. Our work also ensures that employees remain protected and compliant. We strive to ensure employees feel heard and provide the resources and support they need during the most important moments in their careers.
The main function of a solution lead is to act as a liaison to the business by analyzing process/system issues and all other data processing problems for applications and systems. A typical business systems analyst is responsible for understanding the business problem, documenting requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review system capabilities, partnering with Engineering to execute and test the solution, and supporting business in user acceptance testing and change management. We are looking for someone with HR technology experience who can thrive managing multiple technology projects in a very fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
β’ Coordinate with business stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
β’ Support business analyst efforts to work on daily BAU bugs, enhancements, and projects.
β’ Work with the cross-functional teams to ensure that the most significant business operations are addressed by facilitating and documenting business processes, business and functional requirements, building business cases, and supporting the full project delivery lifecycle.
β’ Manage various work streams, including gathering information, planning, and executing multiple projects/enhancements with little to no guidance.
β’ Partner with Project Manager, Data Insights, Service Design, and People Engineering teams to drive the execution of technology solutions that best serve the People@ goals.
β’ Formulate and maintain solution documentation (e.g., solution design documentation, process flows, technical requirements, test scripts)
β’ Partner with Engineering to design technical solutions and translate business requirements into technical requirements.
β’ Take a broad perspective on problems, examine them from different perspectives, and weigh the pros/cons to finalize the go-forward approach.
β’ Educate and promote standard procedures to guarantee that the solutions produced are the highest in class for the business's overall strategy and ethos.
β’ Exercise rapid familiarization with multiple internal tools & applications; the business systems analyst must be able to track down information through searching documentation, connecting with subject matter experts, and following the trail of breadcrumbs to get to the most up-to-date information.
β’ Apply the backlog grooming, attributes, review, and approval processes.
β’ Document detailed test scripts, build test plans, and conduct internal testing with the highest quality assurance.
β’ Support User Acceptance Testing, testing office hours, training, and troubleshooting of defects.
β’ Support change management through creating resources and supporting training.
β’ Apply sound design & system governance principles to refine & prioritize requirements expressed by stakeholders.
β’ Receive and handle escalations from stakeholders; balance empathy for stakeholders with org priorities and engineering capacity.
Minimum Qualifications
β’ Strong preference for Retail Experience.
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in CS or IT-related majors (or equivalent experience).
β’ 6+ years of solution lead experience in a corporate environment, preferably in HR Technology.
β’ Experience working with cross-functional teams across various levels of the organization.
β’ Demonstrated track record of crafting clear and concise communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
β’ Demonstrated experience in translating business needs into technical requirements and vice versa to drive understanding and buy-in from a varied range of stakeholders.
