Role description
Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled AI Agent Developer to design, build, and deploy a web-based AI agent that will automate and elevate our core QA coordination tasks. The primary mission for this role is to create an intelligent system that: • Learns and internalises our comprehensive Test Policies. • Analyzes new Release Notes as they are published. • Generates a precise, actionable Test Guide based on the changes identified. • Publishes this guide automatically to our internal QA website. This is a unique opportunity to build a sophisticated AI solution from the ground up, directly impacting our operational efficiency and product quality. You will be translating complex human-led coordination into a streamlined, autonomous process. This is a 12 month outsourced contract role where you will be working via one of our preferred recruitment agencies on an hourly rate. Role And Responsibilities • Design and implement NLP pipelines to parse, understand, and extract key information from unstructured Release Notes and technical Test Policy documents. • Develop and fine-tune a RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) system, training a model on our specific QA policies to ensure generated content is accurate and context-aware. • Build a robust AI agent architecture using modern LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) and application frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex). • Develop the backend API integrations necessary for the AI agent to automatically publish its generated test guides to our internal web platform. • Create and maintain a simple, effective web-based UI for the QA team to interact with, review, and (if necessary) override the AI agent's outputs. • Implement rigorous evaluation and monitoring systems to track the accuracy, relevance, and utility of the AI-generated guides. • Collaborate closely with QA Coordinators and Engineers to gather feedback, understand nuanced requirements, and continuously improve the agent's performance. Skills And Qualifications Required Qualifications (Must-Haves) • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field. • Experience in software development (Backend or Full-Stack). • Strong proficiency in Python (preferred) or other backend languages (e.g., Node.js, Java) and associated frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django, Express). • Proven experience building applications using LLM APIs (e.g., Open AI) in a commercial or production-level environment. • Hands-on experience with AI frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex. • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. (co-work with HQ) • Must have the legal right to work in the UK. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves) • Experience in designing or building agentic AI systems. • Experience deploying AI solutions in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with MLOps. • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles. • A portfolio of projects demonstrating Business Process Automation (BPA).
