AI Engineer

Position: AI Engineer Location: North Chicago, IL, 60064 Duration: 3 Months Job Type: Temporary Assignment Work Type: Hybrid Payrate:$ 40.00 - 43.00/hr. Job Description: • The successful candidate will develop AI agents and apply machine learning to enable delivery of robust results from proteomics experiments performed by the proteomics team at the client. • The successful candidate will develop a process, working with team members, to programmatically run R-scripts and python programs and develop AI agents and ML tools to expedite decision making and reduce processing time to turn processed data into reported results in a more efficient manner than currently done by team analysts. What are the top 3-5 skills, experience or education required for this position: • B.S/M.S. in Computer Science, AI Engineering, Data Statistics, or related fields with a focus on AI/ML • Programming skills in R, Python and machine learning libraries • Design of AI agents and architecture capable of autonomous decision making • Perform feature engineering and development of accurate ML models • Familiarity with statistics and large-scale scientific studies • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with diverse subject matter experts • 1-3 years of experience TekWissen® Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
