Role:-AI/ML Engineer Consultant
Location:-Remote
Duration:-1 Year Contract to hire
Update: Client needs candidates heavy on Cognitive AI & Gen AI. Our previous submissions are heavy on Traditional AI.
Client doesnβt have any AI component in their current system. They want someone who can evaluate their system, suggest best practices, methods and then develop the tools. They would need a senior person who can work hands on too.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead the integration of AI/ML solutions into legacy .NET applications and commercial IT systems.
β’ Modernize and accelerate development by embedding AI into software engineering workflows.
β’ Collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists.
β’ Pilot and scale AI-driven tools (e.g., chatbots, code assistants, ML-based analyzers).
β’ Utilize Microsoft Azure (including Azure OpenAI) to deploy scalable, intelligent solutions.
β’ Evaluate and vet AI capabilities for code generation, analysis, and optimization.
β’ Help build tools that generate user stories and code from trained models.
β’ Drive architectural and technical leadership for high-impact projects.
β’ Design, build, maintain, and retire systems with AI-augmented lifecycle processes.
β’ Leverage AI to improve operational efficiency in managing 300+ terminals and backend ETRM suite systems.
Must-Have Qualifications:
β’ Strong hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies and frameworks.
β’ Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure, especially Azure OpenAI.
β’ Proven background in C#, .NET, and Azure DevOps integration.
β’ Experience in building and deploying intelligent agents (e.g., Salesforce AI agents, chatbots).
β’ Ability to partner across teams and lead modernization initiatives.
β’ Track record of delivering complex projects in Commercial IT environments.
β’ Knowledge of legacy codebases and experience modernizing large, monolithic systems.
β’ Demonstrated ability to generate usable outputs and insights using AI.
