Get more details below. • Contract Duration: 12 months + potential to convert/extend • Worksite Location: Medina, MN | Hybrid • Compensation: $55.00 - $80 per hour What you ll do as an AI/ML Engineer: • Design and implement AI models and algorithms using Azure AI services, including Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and Azure OpenAI. • Develop and deploy NLP and LLM solutions leveraging frameworks such as LangChain or Semantic Kernel. • Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using Azure AI Search to improve performance and accuracy. • Lead and deliver AI projects that are secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. • Provide technical expertise and guidance to teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth integration and adoption of AI solutions. • Conduct testing and validation of AI models, optimizing performance while addressing data quality, bias, and fairness. • Stay current with AI trends, applying best practices to improve solution design and delivery. • Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to design proposals, estimates, and technical presentations that showcase value to stakeholders. What you ll bring to the AI/ML Engineer role: • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 3+ years of AI/ML development experience with a focus on OpenAI Services, NLP, and LLMs. • Proven ability to design, deploy, and maintain models using Azure AI services (Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI); AWS experience also valuable. • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow; C# knowledge is a plus. • Hands-on experience with RAG architectures and tools such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or LlamaIndex. • Understanding of MLOps practices and tools for lifecycle management. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize models and pipelines for performance and scalability. • Excellent communication skills with experience working alongside product owners, technical teams, and end users. • Experience in consulting environments and client-facing roles is highly preferred. • Self-directed, adaptable, and eager to learn in fast-paced, dynamic settings.
