Role description
Analytics Consultant London, ENG Internal Analytics Consultant (Contract) Contract Length: 6 months Commitment: 3 days per week (CET time zone) Start Date: Mid to Late September About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Internal Analytics Consultant to join a global technology business on an interim basis. The organisation has strong BI and data expertise, but these capabilities are not yet embedded into how product value is assessed. This role is about enabling that transformation, designing structures, frameworks and operating models that allow product teams to consistently measure and demonstrate value creation. Unlike a pure delivery role, this consultant will not be tasked with building dashboards. Instead, you’ll focus on building the foundations that allow the business to sustainably measure value at scale, long after the contract ends. Key Objectives • Validate the need for a permanent value measurement capability • Identify and unlock under-utilised analytics talent across the organisation • Build a scalable operating model for measuring value creation • Embed standardised value measurement frameworks into product delivery • Strengthen collaboration between Product, BI, Engineering, and Commercial teams • Propose the long-term structure and ownership of a value measurement function The Challenge & Opportunity • No shared method for measuring value creation—outcomes remain hard to quantify • Fragmented data and insights, limiting cross-functional visibility • Product teams often rely on outputs rather than true impact metrics • Analytics skills exist, but are disconnected from delivery processes • Strong leadership appetite to mature this capability, but no blueprint in place Ideal Background • Proven track record in analytics, business intelligence, or product value measurement • Experience designing frameworks and operating models (not just delivery-focussed) • Strong stakeholder management and organisational change capability • Ability to connect data, product, and commercial perspectives to define measurable value • Previous experience in consulting or interim transformation roles is desirable
