API Developer

Job Title: API Developer Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) or Remote US (EST time-zone) Type: Long-term Contract Are you passionate about building modern, scalable APIs that power enterprise applications? In this role, you’ll design and optimize APIs leveraging Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure API Management, while working in a fast-paced .NET Core/C# environment. Position Overview The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure API Management, as well as hands-on experience building and managing GraphQL APIs. This role requires strong proficiency in C#/.NET Core and working knowledge of modern CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployments. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain APIs leveraging Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure API Management. • Build, optimize, and support GraphQL endpoints for internal and external applications. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs with enterprise systems and applications. • Implement secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions in a C#/.NET Core environment. • Work with DevOps teams to design, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth code integration and deployment. • Monitor and troubleshoot API performance, ensuring reliability and uptime. • Document API design, usage guidelines, and integration best practices. Required Qualifications • Strong experience developing APIs with Azure Functions and Logic Apps. • Hands-on expertise with Azure API Management. • Solid background with GraphQL API development and implementation. • Proficiency in C# and .NET Core development. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar). • Strong understanding of cloud-native API design, scalability, and security. • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). • Knowledge of REST API best practices and microservices architecture. • Familiarity with monitoring tools and logging frameworks within Azure. • Prior experience in enterprise-level or large-scale API integration projects.
