Job Title: MIS Application Support Developer
Location: Remote
Contract Length: Minimum 3 Years
NO 3RD PARTIES, NO C2C or C2H, MUST BE W2
Role Overview: Our client is transitioning to a modern CCWIS-compliant platform. Maintaining legacy systems while contributing to new development and data migration efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and troubleshoot legacy Natural code
• Develop cleanup scripts for data integrity (SQL, Natural)
• Support data migration and validation
• Act as SME in meetings and planning sessions
Required Technical Skills:
• Natural (2+ years), VB6 (5+ years), SQL (5+ years)
• .NET Framework (C#, ASP.NET)
• Experience with legacy system maintenance and modernization
• Source control tools (Git, SVN, TFS)
• Data mapping and migration planning
Child Welfare Experience:
• Familiarity with SACWIS, MACWIS, or CCWIS
• Understanding of child welfare processes (case management, licensing, reporting)
• Ability to translate program needs into technical specs
Professional & Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and communication
• Experience in cross-functional teams and technical documentation
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities
Preferred:
• Experience with CCWIS modernization
• Knowledge of federal compliance standards
• ADABAS experience
