Job Title: Full Stack Artificial Intelligence Engineer Location: Remote Position Type: Contract About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Full Stack AI Engineer to join our development team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing a pilot application that encompasses comprehensive capabilities, including ingress and egress, an administrative user interface, storage solutions, and AI workflows tailored for content harvesting. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping the functionality and performance of our innovative application. Key Responsibilities: Application Development: Lead the full-stack development of a pilot application, ensuring seamless integration of front-end and back-end components. Ingress and Egress: Implement robust data ingress and egress capabilities to facilitate efficient data flow within the application. Admin UI Design: Develop an intuitive and responsive administrative user interface that provides easy access to application controls and metrics. Storage Solutions: Architect and implement scalable storage solutions to manage various data types, including multi-media content. AI Workflow Integration: Design and integrate AI workflows that enable content harvesting capabilities such as taxonomy classification, entity extraction, and de-identification. Collaboration and Reporting: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including AI researchers and data engineers, to align on project goals. Provide regular updates and detailed documentation on development progress. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Technical Expertise: Proven experience in full-stack development, with proficiency in front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Django), and database management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). AI and ML Knowledge: Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, and experience integrating AI models into applications. Programming Skills: Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, JavaScript, and related technologies. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to devise innovative solutions to complex technical challenges. Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, able to work effectively in a team setting. Contractor Experience: Prior experience working on contract-based projects is preferred.
