AI Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (Preferred Hubs: LA, NY, NJ, Denver)
Rate: DOE
Duration: 6-month W2 contract with potential for extension/conversion
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Generative AI Engineer to join our Fortune 500 media clientβs cutting-edge AI organization. This role will play a key part in the build-out of a next-gen content automation platform that leverages visual large language models (LLMs) and generative AI tooling to streamline image and video creation workflows across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate is a strong Python engineer and hands-on with prompt engineering, model optimization, and the integration of GenAI APIs (such as Adobe Firefly) into broader content and marketing ecosystems. Youβll collaborate with a senior technical team to bring innovative AI concepts to life while supporting the foundation of a new automation hub.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
β’ Build and optimize prompt-to-image/video workflows using diffusion models like Stable Diffusion, ControlNet, or ComfyUI
β’ Design and implement LLM-based orchestration pipelines using tools like LangChain, Hugging Face, LangGraph, etc.
β’ Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., Adobe Firefly) into internal content pipelines
β’ Write Python code and GenAI components that are production-ready, observable, and scalable
β’ Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, creatives, and product stakeholders
β’ Support early-stage prototyping, MVPs, and proof-of-concepts with clear follow-through to deployment
β’ Leverage architectural standards like MCP (Model Context Protocol) as the foundation evolves
Must-Have Qualifications:
β’ 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, including production-level Python development
β’ Proven experience working with diffusion-based models (e.g., Stable Diffusion, ControlNet, etc.)
β’ Strong understanding of prompt engineering for visual and multimodal outputs
β’ Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Transformers, Hugging Face)
β’ Comfortable deploying GenAI pipelines to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with GPU optimization
β’ Able to work in a fast-paced, high-velocity engineering team (story points, agile sprints, etc.)
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
β’ Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar agent-based systems
β’ Past work in creative, media, or marketing tech environments
β’ Familiarity with Adobe Firefly or other creative GenAI APIs
β’ Experience with prompt tuning
β’ Previous work on agentic workflows or multimodal content generation
Eight Eleven Group (Brooksource) provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, citizenship, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
