Role description
Job Description – ASW + AUTOSAR Engineer Location: Peoria, IL Duration: Long Term Job Responsibilities: β€’ Develop and integrate Application Software (ASW) for embedded automotive/control systems. β€’ Work on AUTOSAR architecture, configuration, and integration activities. β€’ Design, develop, and maintain embedded software components using C/C++. β€’ Configure AUTOSAR modules such as MCAL, BSW, RTE, and SWCs. β€’ Perform software integration, debugging, and validation on embedded targets. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, calibration, validation, and hardware teams. β€’ Analyze software requirements and convert them into detailed software design. β€’ Support unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting activities. β€’ Work with CAN communication protocols and diagnostic tools. β€’ Maintain software documentation and ensure compliance with coding standards and development processes. Required Skills: β€’ Strong experience in ASW (Application Software) development. β€’ Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR architecture and configuration tools. β€’ Good programming skills in Embedded C/C++. β€’ Experience with CAN, LIN, UDS, or automotive communication protocols. β€’ Knowledge of software development lifecycle and debugging techniques. β€’ Experience with tools such as Vector CANoe, DaVinci Configurator, EB Tresos, or similar. β€’ Understanding of embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS). β€’ Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field. β€’ Experience in automotive/off-highway vehicle domain preferred. β€’ Prior experience working with embedded ECU software development is an added advantage.
