Role: Ataccama Specialist Location: Hybrid (Alternative weekly travel to East Coast client site for ~2 months, then remote) Type: Contract Travel: Travel expenses covered by the client Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Ataccama Specialist to lead the solution design, implementation, and development of Data Quality (DQ) frameworks using Ataccama ONE. The role will involve configuring out-of-the-box (OOB) DQ rules, developing custom rules, and implementing robust data profiling and observability checks. The successful candidate will play a key role in building an automated data quality monitoring framework, ensuring high standards of data integrity across enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities • Define and implement Ataccama ONE solutions for enterprise data quality management. • Configure and deploy OOB data quality (DQ) rules for profiling, cleansing, and monitoring. • Design and develop custom DQ rules in Python or Java to extend Ataccama capabilities. • Conduct data profiling and observability checks to identify anomalies and ensure accuracy. • Implement automated data quality monitoring across critical data pipelines. • Collaborate with data governance, engineering, and business teams to enforce data quality policies. • Provide technical leadership in integrating Ataccama ONE with enterprise data platforms. • Travel bi-weekly to the client site (East Coast) during the initial 2 months, then transition to remote delivery. Required Skills & Experience • Proven experience with Ataccama ONE platform (solution design, configuration, and deployment). • Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, governance, and observability. • Hands-on experience developing custom Ataccama DQ rules in Python or Java. • Knowledge of data profiling techniques, automated DQ monitoring, and anomaly detection. • Experience with enterprise data platforms, pipelines, and governance tools. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with client stakeholders. Nice to Have • Experience with large-scale data governance programs. • Exposure to cloud data ecosystems (Azure, AWS, or GCP). • Knowledge of metadata management and data lineage frameworks.
