Role description
· Build and deploy AI agents using Stands within AWS AgentCore, designed for modularity, reuse, and governance.
· Implement MCP orchestration to integrate LLMs, APIs, and skill bots with plan–execute and parallel execution flows.
· Enable Agent-to-Agent (A2A) collaboration, allowing agents to communicate, share state, and delegate tasks in real-time.
· Develop domain-specific agents with context continuity across touchpoints (voice + chat).
· Wrap enterprise systems and services as MCP tools for seamless invocation by agents.
· Deliver observability features (logging, monitoring, metrics for latency, obviation %, A2A success rates).
· Partner with Product, Backend, and Conversational Design teams to ensure scalable, compliant delivery.
Your Skills & Experience
· Proven hands-on experience with AWS AgentCore and building Stands.
· Strong knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) orchestration and A2A communication patterns.
· Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript for agent logic and integration.
· Experience with AWS services (Lambda, Bedrock, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudWatch).
· Familiarity with LLM-based applications, guardrails, and compliance (HIPAA/PII).
· Ability to design for parallel execution, multi-intent handling, and failover scenarios.
Your Impact:
· Design and implement backend services for AI agents using Strands within AWS AgentCore and orchestrated via Model Context Protocol (MCP).
· Build and maintain secure, scalable APIs to integrate skill bots, enterprise systems, and third-party tools.
· Implement agent workflows (plan–execute, parallel execution, multi-intent orchestration).
· Optimize for latency, fault tolerance, and observability in high-volume environments.
· Collaborate with Product, AI, and Cloud teams to ensure compliance, scalability, and reuse via the AgentCore registry/catalog.
Your Skills & Experience
· Strong coding skills in Python and TypeScript.
· Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Bedrock, CloudWatch).
· Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, event-driven design, and microservices.
· Experience integrating with MCP-based toolchains and LLM orchestration frameworks.
