Title: AWS Engineer β Migration from OnPrem to Cloud - W2 ONLY
Location: Charlotte, NC - Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Duration: Long Term Contract.

We are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to support the migration of applications and infrastructure from on-premises to AWS Cloud. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless transition and building a scalable, secure cloud environment. You will be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team working on highly visible, business-critical applications.
Responsibilities:
β’ Lead efforts to migrate applications and infrastructure from on-premises environments to AWS Cloud.
β’ Design, build, and manage AWS infrastructure components (EC2, S3, networking, platform builds, etc.).
β’ Develop Terraform scripts from scratch and enhance existing ones to drive automation and scalability.
β’ Implement infrastructure automation, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and security.
β’ Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
β’ Ensure compliance with AWS best practices, security standards, and operational guidelines.
Required Skills:
β’ Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.).
β’ Proficiency in Terraform (writing modules, managing infrastructure as code).
β’ Experience migrating large-scale applications from on-premises to AWS.
β’ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
β’ Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
β’ Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
β’ Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, etc.).
β’ Experience working in hybrid or large enterprise environments.
