Job Title: Azure AI Engineer (Senior / Hands-on) Location: On-Site ( Iselin, NJ or New York, NY (Manhattan) Job Type: Contract Job Description: Looking for an experienced, hands-on Azure AI Engineer with a strong developer mindset. The role focuses on building and deploying AI solutions using Microsoft Azure AI tools, Copilot technologies, and LLMs. This is a developer-heavy role, not a data scientist role. Must-Have Skills • Strong hands-on experience in Azure AI • Strong experience with Copilot Studio • Experience with Copilot Studio Agents • Strong knowledge of Azure AI Foundry • Experience working with Azure OpenAI / LLMs • Hands-on experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) • Strong developer mindset (engineering focused, not data science) • API development experience • Good knowledge of Python • Experience with C++ • Integration experience with Microsoft Teams • Understanding of Microsoft Entitlements / security Responsibilities • Build and deploy AI solutions using Azure AI services • Develop AI-powered copilots using Copilot Studio • Design and implement RAG-based solutions • Develop backend APIs and integrations • Integrate AI solutions with Microsoft Teams • Ensure secure access and entitlement-based controls • Work as a hands-on senior developer in enterprise AI projects Preferred • Experience in enterprise-scale Azure environments • Strong problem-solving and architecture skills
