Azure Cloud Engineer – Financial Services | 6-Month Contract | £740/day (Inside IR35) | Bournemouth – 4 Days Onsite My client, within Financial Services, are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer for a 6-month contract role. This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer with a strong grasp of application governance and cloud platform management within Azure. The role is requiring 4 days a week in Bournemouth for an initial 6 month contract. Role paying £750 P/D. This is not an architecture role, but a solid understanding of architecture principles is essential. You’ll be working closely with Engineering SMEs to produce High-Level Design Documents (HLDDs) and ensure governance standards are met throughout the delivery lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: • Manage cloud-hosted applications and information assets in compliance with governance frameworks • Implement and maintain application governance policies and processes • Support the creation, review, and approval of HLDDs on the Azure platform • Collaborate with architects and SMEs to ensure alignment with enterprise architectural standards • Coordinate deliverables and timelines across multiple stakeholders • Facilitate technical discussions and design reviews Skills Required • Strong background in application management and information ownership • Strong experience in application governance within enterprise environments • Strong knowledge of Azure services and cloud infrastructure • Comfortable working with design documentation and governance workflows • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills • Experience coordinating project deliverables in complex technical environments
