Role description
This role is for an Azure Cloud/AI Enablement Engineer with a strong background in development and a specialization in cloud deployment and DevOps. The primary focus is on building and maintaining secure, scalable Azure environments to support intelligent application workloads.
Key responsibilities include integrating Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services with new and existing applications, and using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep) to provision and manage Azure subscriptions. The engineer will also create robust CI/CD pipelines to enable automated deployments. A crucial part of the job is collaborating with application teams to migrate and modernize workloads in Azure and assisting business units in adopting AI services. This position requires a proactive engineer who can contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and enforce cloud governance policies, with a strong emphasis on a "private-by-default" security approach.
The position is remote but the candidate is expected to reside in North Carolina to ensure there can be visits to the client site as required.
