Role description
Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst (Senior Analyst, IS Business Intelligence) Location: REMOTE Duration: 3 months Pay rate: $45 per hour W2 Contract (No C2C) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Specialist to lead the design and support of enterprise-wide BI applications and architecture. This individual contributor role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with cybersecurity data and a passion for driving data-informed decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Lead the design and support of enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture. β€’ Collaborate with business and IT senior management to understand and prioritize data and information requirements. β€’ Solve complex technical problems related to BI systems and data architecture. β€’ Optimize performance of BI tools by defining valuable data filters and indexes. β€’ Create and implement testing methodologies and criteria for BI solutions. β€’ Design and coordinate training programs to coach users on BI tools and enhance decision-making capabilities. β€’ Develop and maintain standards, policies, and procedures for BI tools and systems. β€’ Establish and monitor data/information quality metrics. β€’ Research emerging technologies and develop business cases for enterprise-wide BI solutions. β€’ Work with product cybersecurity data and the data team to ingest, normalize, transform, and query various datasets related to Stryker products. β€’ Apply data security best practices when handling sensitive product and cybersecurity-related information. Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). β€’ Minimum of 2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles. β€’ Strong understanding of BI tools, data modeling, and performance optimization. β€’ Experience working with cybersecurity data is highly desirable. β€’ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. β€’ Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. β€’ Attention to detail and ability to make evaluative judgments based on factual analysis.
