Role description
Location: Remote Contract Length: 3-6 months IR35 Status: Outside IR35 Rate: £400-£525 per day Start: Immediate Overview We are seeking a BI Developer to support a fast-growing business in the sports, gambling, and gaming sector, working across multiple brands. The role will focus on transforming website and customer data into insights that drive revenue and inform smarter decision-making. You'll join a small engineering team led by the Head of Engineering, where the current setup involves simple dashboards. This role will take reporting to the next level by delivering cleaner data, stronger models, and higher-quality dashboards that provide real business value. Key Responsibilities • Clean, structure, and organise raw data for analysis by commercial stakeholders. • Build data models to improve reporting speed and accuracy. • Design and deliver Tableau dashboards that visualise complex data, including: • Tracking end-to-end revenue vs campaigns. • Visualising active deals and account overviews. • Validate data accuracy, handle missing data, and maintain consistent metric definitions. • Schedule data refreshes and automate repetitive reporting tasks. • Build and maintain Tableau/Snowflake dashboards. • Collaborate with Data Ops when data accuracy is questionable. • Work closely with Commercial, Product, and Engineering teams to align outputs with business needs. Required Skills & Experience • Strong expertise in SQL and Tableau. • (Nice to have) Experience with Snowflake. • Ability to collect, join, and analyse data from multiple sources. • Strong skills in data understanding, modelling, and visualisation. • Experience delivering value by analysing large, complex data sets. • Proven ability to create actionable insights and business value through dashboards. • Collaborative, proactive, and able to work directly with stakeholders across functions.
