Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a Big Data Developer to join their team. As a Big Data Developer, you will be part of the Application Architecture team supporting innovative technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Big Data Developer Location: Charlotte, NC (3 days onsite required) Locals Only What's the Job? • Define an architectural vision and solution aligned to the enterprise architecture strategy. • Evaluate system impacts and determine primary systems/sub-systems and their interfaces. • Assist with end-to-end solution design while working with stakeholders and service providers. • Define non-functional requirements/architectural runway to support new epics/features. • Ensure solutions are fit for purpose through collaboration and feedback. What's Needed? • 6-8 years of experience working with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and Kafka. • Hands-on development experience using functional programming languages like Python and Scala. • Familiarity with the pythonic ecosystem (Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks, etc.). • Extensive experience designing and implementing complex solutions for distributed systems. • Experience with CI/CD automation using tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
