Job Title: Biomedical Engineer
Location: Boston, MA
Work schedule: Mon- Fri 8am- 5pm

Requirements
β’ Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree or equivalent experience in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
β’ Must be able to relocate to Boston, MA and work onsite/hybrid.
β’ Demonstrated experience in data analysis and visualization with Python and R, using frameworks and tools such as Pandas, NumPy, tidyverse, etc.
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset.
β’ Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Strong organizational and teamwork skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Nice to Have:
β’ Knowledge of cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
β’ Strong understanding of biomedical signal processing and/or imaging technologies.
β’ Hands-on experience in analyzing biomedical data (e.g., ECG, accelerometer, PPG, or other physiological signals).
β’ Experience with the design and management of experiment with wearable sensors and human subjects.
β’ Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data management tools.
β’ Demonstrated experience in data engineering, including designing and managing ETL pipelines.
Responsibilities
β’ Collaborate with senior Biomedical Engineer members to conduct testing over multiple digital health technologies (DHTs) and integrate biomedical data into advanced analytics platforms.
β’ Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows to process biomedical datasets.
β’ Utilize Python and R for data wrangling, analysis, and visualization to support research and development initiatives.
β’ Apply principles of biomedical engineering to solve problems related to signal processing, imaging, and physiological data interpretation.
β’ Ensure the quality, security, and scalability of biomedical data solutions.
β’ Perform exploratory data analysis and generate insights to inform product development and clinical research.
β’ Stay updated on emerging technologies and methodologies in biomedical data engineering and analytics.
β’ Assist in managing and setting up in-house evaluation tests, including scheduling sessions and monitoring participants.
β’ Manage the lab space and equipment, handling the shipping and receiving of numerous devices.
β’ Support data preparation and analysis for in-house evaluations and user acceptance tests (UATs).
