This is a long-term contract role ideal for someone who thrives in agile environments, communicates clearly, and enjoys translating business needs into actionable solutions. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document, refine, and manage business and technical requirements • Lead discussions on functionality, process improvements, and testing outcomes • Analyze and visualize data to communicate results and insights clearly • Manage and prioritize tickets across multiple projects using Jira • Support product and project managers with documentation, reporting, and solution design Required Skills & Experience • 3+ years as a Business Analyst in technology, operations, or data analytics • 3+ years in Agile or Lean development environments • Experience in the insurance industry strongly preferred • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) • Experience with process mapping, wireframes, and testing plans • Familiarity with software development lifecycles and Jira • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, or a related field Ideal Traits • Curious and eager to understand the complexities of insurance operations • Excellent communicator and visual storyteller • Comfortable managing multiple priorities with precision and calm • Detail-oriented with high standards for data accuracy and process rigor • A dependable collaborator who takes initiative Bonus Points For • AINS or CPCU certification • CBAP or CCBA certification • CSM or CSPO credentials • Six Sigma or similar process improvement training • Smartsheet or Advanced Excel certifications
