Business Analyst

Position: Business Analyst – BigCommerce / eCommerce Location: Remote (must work EST hours) Contract: 6 months (likely extension to 12 months) Start Date: Immediate Compensation: $60/hr C2C Work Authorisation: Any US Work Authorisation Overview Santcore Technologies is seeking a Business Analyst with strong BigCommerce experience to support our client’s eCommerce and ERP initiatives. This role blends technical expertise (50–70%) with business-facing communication skills to ensure seamless execution of projects that impact shopping cart workflows, dual purchasing, and ERP integrations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in cross-functional teams, and can effectively translate technical requirements into actionable solutions. Key Responsibilities • Gather, analyze, and document requirements for eCommerce and ERP enhancements. • Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams. • Support BigCommerce platform processes, particularly shopping carts, purchasing workflows, and ERP integrations. • Collaborate with ERP and finance teams to align eCommerce operations with backend systems. • Track project milestones, escalate blockers, and provide clear updates to stakeholders. • Manage requirements, user stories, and documentation using Jira and Confluence. • Recommend and implement process improvements in eCommerce and ERP systems. • Translate technical challenges into business-friendly communication for leadership and end-users. Required Qualifications • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology or eCommerce-focused projects. • Hands-on experience with BigCommerce (mandatory). • Solid understanding of eCommerce workflows (shopping carts, dual purchasing, ERP integration). • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation. • Strong experience in milestone tracking, issue escalation, and stakeholder communication. • Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred). • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in finance, financial services, or membership-based organizations. • Professional certifications (BA, Agile, Scrum, or related) are a plus.
