Role description
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, deep experience with Salesforce, and must be certified as a Marketing Cloud Email Specialist and Marketing Cloud Administrator. Job Title: Business Analyst Job Location: Nashville, TN 37203 (100% onsite) Job Duration: 12 Months with possible ext Job Description Summary: The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to analyze science, engineering, business, and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. A typical Business Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Job Responsibilities: β€’ Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers. β€’ Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs. β€’ Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation. β€’ Interview or survey workers, observe job performance, or perform the job to determine what information is processed and how it is processed. β€’ Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared. β€’ Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles. β€’ Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow. Skills: β€’ Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. β€’ Ability to work independently and manage one’s time. β€’ Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. β€’ Knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in the production of drawings and models. β€’ Knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc. Education/Experience: β€’ Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. β€’ 5-7 years of experience required. Typical Task Breakdown: β€’ Attend Agile ceremonies amongst team members and give status updates as needed. β€’ Create user stories. β€’ Define testing and requirements. β€’ Have fun! Interaction with Team: β€’ Collaborative team environment with about 20 team members. Team Structure: β€’ Report into the team lead and work director. Work Environment: β€’ Office-based. Education & Experience Required: β€’ Years of experience: 5-7 years required. β€’ Degree requirement: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required.
