Business Analyst (Accounting & Treasury)

The Business Analyst serves as a liaison between the business community and the technical community to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design using appropriate tools and models from which applications and solutions are developed. You will be providing production application support working within the IT Finance Platform team, that primarily supports 12 applications for the Accounting and Treasury teams. Systems include Great Plains, FIS Integrity, Adaptive Planning, qashqade and various in-house solutions.
The ideal candidate is someone who is/has:
β’ Broad IT domain experience in three or more of the following areas: Production Maintenance/ Support, Application Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Business Process Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure
β’ Familiar and experienced with SQL and Agile software development methodologies.
β’ Experienced with financial applications; has a basic understanding of Accounting and Treasury
β’ Proficient with Visio and MS Office Suite, including Excel (pivot tables and v-lookups).
What you will do:
β’ Work with business partners to elicit high-level requirements and clearly document business needs.
β’ Maintain ongoing relationship with business community.
β’ Liaise and partner with vendors to support applications.
β’ Proactively triage and resolve issues reported.
β’ Document user manuals and operating procedures; Conduct training sessions for application users and team members as needed.
β’ Coordinate user acceptance testing with business.

Education Preferred
β’ Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experience
