Business Analyst

Our utility client is hiring a Business Analyst to support IT and AI initiatives, ensuring projects stay aligned with business goals and delivered on time. This role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams, providing project tracking, documentation, and coordination in an Agile environment. This can be fully remote supporting EST HOURS. Key Responsibilities: • Attend and actively participate in AI/IT project meetings with stakeholders • Maintain and manage Azure DevOps (ADO) boards, ensuring tickets reflect accurate progress • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, capture notes, risks, and blockers • Create presentations and documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, support sprint planning, and retrospectives • Support Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives • Monitor project timelines and deliverables, helping to identify risks and issues Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field • Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts, IT systems, or data analytics • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, and Azure DevOps (or similar tools) • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills: • Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) • Basic understanding of data pipelines and machine learning workflows • Coursework or experience in project management.
