We are currently looking for an experienced individual to support in day-to-day tooling and process operations, as well as Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) support. The IT Supply Chain is responsible for fulfilling all internal end-user IT needs. We build integrated, scalable, and robust processes and systems to manage the planning & inventory life cycle.
Responsibilities
β’ EDI Operation support:
β’ Onboarding of new vendors to the internal EDI platform.
β’ Migration of existing vendors from the legacy internal EDI platform to the new internal EDI platform.
β’ Manage day-to-day communications with EDI vendors for Q&A and troubleshooting.
β’ Monitor the EDI dashboard, adding incident tags, extracting data, and reporting for tooling health. Proactively flag risk to the core team.
β’ Proactively identify EDI tooling issues in tasks and provide root cause analysis and prompt feedback for each instance.
β’ Create and maintain tooling manuals (workflows, tagging, set up requirements, and troubleshooting guide).
β’ Update tooling configuration and vendor profiles, system master data for team lead approval to support operation.
β’ Provide Tier 1 on-call support for Supply Chain tooling issue triage and troubleshooting.
β’ Escalate Tier 2 issues to respective teams and follow up for resolution.
β’ Tooling and Process Improvement Support:
β’ Value streaming as a process, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop solutions for simple problems.
β’ Monitor and report the status of enhancement implementation.
β’ Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), debugging, and provide status updates.
β’ Create and maintain process/training documentation (update WIKI)
β’ Assist with global process/tooling rollout.
Minimum Experience
β’ 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, desire to be in the area of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
β’ System or Tooling Implementation experience.
β’ Basic project management in system implementations, experience in user acceptance testing (UAT).
β’ Data analysis skills using dashboards to analyze data and report to the business.
β’ Advanced Documentation (i.e., Process flows creation, SOP documentation, training guides/manuals)
β’ Problem-solving skills.
β’ Experience working with cross-functional partners.
Desired Experience
β’ EDI Signal onboarding and maintenance.
β’ Specifically EDI 850 (PO), 855 (POA), 856 (ASN), 860 (CO), and 810 (Invoice).
β’ Vendor management.
β’ Advances in process flow visualization tools like Lucid Chart or Visio, Google Sheets/Slides.
β’ Experience creating and maintaining tooling manuals.
β’ Global exposure.
