Job Title: Business Analyst – Agile / Data Analysis / Azure DevOps Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite/Hybrid Preferred) Duration: 11 Months (ASAP – 06/30/2026) Employment Type: W2 / 1099 / C2C Contract Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a full-lifecycle agile development team. The selected candidate will work across multiple business units to perform business and systems analysis activities, support development efforts, document requirements, and guide testing and quality assurance processes. Scope of Work: Analyze, document, and optimize business and system processes. Conduct workshops with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to gather requirements. Manage user stories, requirements, and tasks in Azure DevOps. Perform data analysis and write SQL queries to validate data migration and business logic. Coordinate with development and data migration teams. Design and execute test plans and test cases. Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with department standards and business needs. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in business process analysis and systems analysis. Proficiency in process modeling and diagramming using Microsoft Visio. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Experience writing SQL queries and performing data analysis. Knowledge of data migration practices. Experience with agile projects and managing backlogs in Azure DevOps. Familiarity with Florida Administrative Code (Rules 60GG-1 – 60GG-5) is a plus. Experience with change and release management and QA/test coordination. Preferred Qualifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Experience with Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft Project. Knowledge of system design and modeling methodologies. Experience with testing tools and quality assurance practices. Key Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements. Facilitate joint analysis workshops and meetings. Manage and prioritize product backlogs and sprint planning. Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases. Support end-to-end system testing and validate deliverables. Develop training documentation and support user onboarding.
