Job Title: Business Analyst 2 Location: Austin, TX 78752 (Hybrid) Duration: Long-Term Contract Pay Rate: $50-$55/hr. About the Role: The client requires the services of 2 Business Analyst 2 professionals who meet the general qualifications for Business Analyst 2, Applications/Software Development, and the specifications outlined below. The Business Analysts will support current client projects and priorities by facilitating the gathering of themes, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and analyzing existing requirements documentation. These candidates will directly support project and development teams to improve agency effectiveness, ensure compliance with applicable statutes, and enhance service delivery capabilities. Key Responsibilities: • Create themes, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria according to client standards. • Convert existing use cases into actionable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria within Jira. • Analyze existing process documentation and identify opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency. • Support the development and implementation of various initiatives. • Facilitate project development and quality assurance discussions, including gathering story points to support predictive level of effort modeling. • Must pass a satisfactory standard criminal background check upon hire. Candidate Skills and Qualifications: • Minimum 4 years of experience as a senior-level Business Analyst in the field or related technology field. • At least 3 years of working knowledge of Agile project management methodologies and practices. • Preferred: 1 year of experience understanding and documenting use cases. • Preferred: 1 year of experience with process documentation and mapping.
