Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Analyst with deep expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance to support a Generative AI initiative. This role will focus on complex integrations spanning front-end systems, MuleSoft APIs, databases, and backend services. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology, ensuring AI-driven solutions align with core insurance operations and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements for Generative AI features.
β’ Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and data models.
β’ Partner with engineering teams to support integrations across frontend, MuleSoft middleware, and backend systems.
β’ Ensure compliance with insurance product rules, workflows, and regulatory requirements.
β’ Drive user acceptance testing (UAT) and oversee go-live readiness activities.
Must-Have Qualifications
β’ 8+ years of experience as a Product Analyst or Business Analyst, with a strong focus on P&C insurance.
β’ Solid knowledge of SQL, data warehouse concepts, data profiling, and data quality checks.
β’ Proven expertise across insurance operations including policy administration, claims, underwriting, and compliance.
β’ Experience in complex system integration projects (frontend, middleware, backend).
β’ Strong background in collaborating with cross-functional teams (developers, architects, QA, data scientists).
β’ Hands-on exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI projects in regulated industries.
β’ In-depth understanding of API integrations, data contracts, and enterprise data flows.
β’ Proficiency in Agile practicesβbacklog grooming, sprint planning, user story creation.
β’ Skilled in requirements gathering, process mapping, impact analysis, and stakeholder communication.
β’ Practical experience with JIRA, Confluence, Figma, or similar collaboration tools.
Nice-to-Have Skills
β’ Exposure to Generative AI platforms, including LLMs and prompt engineering.
β’ Familiarity with insurance core platforms (Guidewire, Duck Creek).
β’ Experience embedding AI features into customer portals or underwriting tools.
β’ Knowledge of AI data governance, security, and compliance in insurance.
β’ Background in UI/UX collaboration and iterative prototyping.
